FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions we get the most.

What is BJJ Grapple Hub exactly?

BJJ Grapple Hub brings everything you need for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Grappling into one place: training log, technique learning, strength training planning, mental training, yoga, competition calendar, injury tracking and much more.

Is the app free?

The core features stay free — techniques library, training log, injury overview and the calendar are accessible to everyone. Later we'll add paid options for extra features (advanced trainer/gym functionality or premium content). Waitlist members get priority and better terms when that happens.

When is the app available?

We are rolling out in phases, starting with a pilot at Dutch gyms. Estimated launch: mid-June 2026. Waitlist members get early access as soon as there is room.

Who is BJJ Grapple Hub for?

For students who want to track progress seriously, for trainers who want to professionalize their teaching and earn extra income through private lessons, and for gyms that want to run their entire mat in one environment.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The techniques library, injury overview and training log work fully offline; once you are online again, your progress syncs automatically.

How is this different from free BJJ content on YouTube?

YouTube has isolated videos; BJJ Grapple Hub gives structure, progress and the link between you and your trainer. The value is in a personal path through the material, transition flows and targeted feedback — not in more videos. The app also helps you figure out exactly what to watch on YouTube next.

Which languages are supported?

Dutch and English. The techniques library is built multilingual-ready so we can add more languages easily.
